DADA toDAy?! Symposium and Art Event

The DADA toDAy?! Symposium and Art Event revisits the relevance of Dada's vital gestures today. Born of the convulsions of WWI, they were bold in experimenting with life and art, opening paths that went far beyond the Dada art movement. At a time of worldwide convulsion, together we will look to these sources to inspire our own insights and playful instigations to freer life. Symposium presentations will trace this influence in conversation with Antonin Artaud’s innovations in theatre, contemporary works of performance art and online short video, and the philosophical motifs of dissonance, home, reason, life, and laughter.
