Dept-wide Seminar: “Technology and Tax Capacity: Evidence from Local Governments in Ghana”

The Emory community is invited to join us for a Hightower lecture by Professor David Lagakos from the Department of Economics at Boston University titled “Technology and Tax Capacity:  Evidence from Local Governments in Ghana." The event will feature interactive opportunities including a formal Q&A session, small-group coffee discussions, and one-on-one mentoring for select students. These exchanges will highlight the interdisciplinary dimensions of economics, public policy, and data science in addressing challenges of tax collection and governance.
