POT 06 – Intermediate Handbuilding (Simkins-Stuntz))

Find a fresh approach in developing your creative expression as you explore new forms, techniques, and surface designs in handbuilding. Projects primarily will focus on small to large functional works, but sculptural and individual or collaborative ideas also are encouraged. Prerequisite: Beginning Handbuilding. For all virtual and onsite Pottery classes, the tuition includes a $98 pass-through supply fee, which covers the cost of one bag of stoneware, raku, or Lizella earthenware clay (first bags of porcelain are available for an additional $5 cost), glazes, and 2,000 cubic inches of firing space.
