This class covers what to expect during the first weeks of breastfeeding including demonstration of positioning, latch, common issues, size of the newborn stomach, and how to overcome the misconception of "do I have enough milk?" Production and building of milk supply is discussed along with what supplies are necessary to make breastfeeding successful. If there are no seats available for a session you would like to attend, please call 1-877-527-3712 option 1 to be added to the waitlist. Please park in the rear of the building on lower level. Signs will direct you to the classroom. Prompt arrival is needed for door access. Only expectant mothers, ages 13 and older. Support person is encouraged to attend, but does not need to be enrolled.
