No one wants to face food insecurity. Our pantry provides a judgement-free space for people to visit, get food and other resources, and leave feeling good about themselves. NETWorks distributes over 400,000 pounds of food annually. Your role: Roles include checking people in, using our database to access assistance history and enter poundage received, intake of people new to the pantry, prepping pre-pack bags and food distribution. We are trying out a new time for food distribution. Help working families access the food they need. Organized by NETWorks Cooperative Ministry. Tips: * Please arrive on time for your shift and plan to stay until your shift ends. * Wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes. * All new volunteers are required to complete paperwork, including a release of liability. Volunteers under the age of 18 must have parent/guardian sign the release. * Volunteers under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
