Volunteers are essential in maintaining and beautifying the public greenspaces/gardens. All the Wylde Center gardens are heavily visited 365 days per year and we want to make sure everything looks great on each visit. Your role: Volunteer activities vary, but may include assisting with the green house, uppotting plants, spreading mulch, etc. Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and bring water! The Oakhurst Garden is our flagship greenspace, and includes a community garden, a greenhouse, mini farm with chickens, & pocket ecosystems with native plants. Organized by Wylde Center. Location: 435 Oakview Rd., Decatur, GA 30030
Parking: Please park on the street clear of driveways and mailboxes. A Greenspaces Team Member will meet you at the back picnic tables.
*Court Ordered Volunteers: The Wylde Center accepts court-ordered volunteers on a case-by-case basis. Prior approval is required.
