And what better way to end the (stressful) week than take a brisk walk, RAIN or SHINE, along the refurbished South Peachtree Creek boardwalk from MEDLOCK PARK to the Emory Candler Lake loop and back, with one hydration break at Candler Lake. This is a FAST-PACED HIKE (15-16 min/mile = 3.75 to 4 mph), so if you prefer a slower pace, have mobility issues, or are recovering from injury, please sit this one out! The majority of the hike is on a wooden boardwalk or concrete path, with a few sections of dirt and gravel, so wear appropriate footwear.
