Registration Registration on GED.com is required in order to test. Registration must be done in advance; no same-day registration is available. Test takers must bring their non-expired, government-issued, photo ID to the test center in order to test. If you need accommodations, they must be requested before your exam on the GED website. Register and create your GED account here: GED.com Login Location The GED is offered at the Central Library and the Louise Watley Library @ Southeast Atlanta. Testing occurs every other week at each location, alternating between libraries. Test can be scheduled for Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10:30 and 4:30. Saturday testing is done once a month, exclusively at Central. Classes Atlanta Public Schools (APS) offer free GED preparation classes. Classes are held at various locations throughout Atlanta every week. Students must register before attending classes. We recommend taking MARTA to Peachtree Center Station or parking in one of the various paid lots within the vicinity of the Library. Central Library hosts this free Fulton County Library event in Atlanta, with 10:30 AM-4:30 PM, room or area: GED Office 2nd Floor.
