About
The trails at Leita Thompson are wide and relatively free of rocks and roots. Though there are changes in elevation, they're moderate and easy to handle. We will hike the trails of Leita Thompson. There are no bathrooms, but there are three sets of porta potties throughout the park. And - - of course - - there are plenty of trees. I will start on time, so please arrive a few minutes early to check in and meet your fellow members. Be ready to turn into the park driveway as soon as you pass through the traffic light on Woodstock Road. We'll be meeting in the large lot where the Art Center building is located. If you park in the pavilion lot, you'll have to walk up the gravel road to meet the group. It's best to just drive up the road so that we can all park in the large overflow lot. Parking is free.
