Join me for a quick training hike at Kennesaw Mountain. We will take the well-worn path over Big Kennesaw, Little Kennesaw and Pigeon Hill to our turnaround point at Burnt Hickroy Road. No need to cross Burnt Hickory unless you need to refill your water bottles. We will wait at Burnt Hickory until all hikers have finished the first pass, then we will return over the mountain to the visitor center at our own pace. All hikers must finish the hike in the 2.5 hour allotted time in order to get credit for the hike. Thanks Mahsheed, for allowing the use of your great photo of the mountain.
