About
Please join me for a hike through the beautiful trails of the Vickery Creek unit of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. The pace will be moderate not a fitness hike but not a stroll. Faster on the flat and slower on the uphill. We will hike at a steady pace stopping only once at the covered bridge. ------ NOTE ---- -Please be sure you can keep a steady pace as we have to be back before dark. For those unfamiliar with Vickery Creek, the trails become somewhat technical in many places due to erosion that exposes roots and leads to difficult footing. This makes it a bit challenging for newer hikers. Poles are advised for some of the steeper hills. There are no restrooms at this location. Parking is free Please arrive a few minutes early to check in as we will leave on time.
