INTERMEDIATE - ADVANCED POTTERY ON THE WHEEL / Kimberly Shelton Tuesdays from 6:30 - 9 PM June 30th - August 18th *NO CLASS TBA 7 Weeks Class Fee: $250 *Prerequisite for these classes require a minimum of two sessions of Beginning Pottery on the Wheel Students will examine an array of wheel-thrown pottery techniques. The focus is on basic throwing skills as well as glazing, decorating, and firing. Pottery tools will be needed for class and can be purchased at Chastain. View the supply list here Chastain offers the following firing options: ^10 Gas Reduction, ^6 and ^05 Electric Oxidation and Raku Firing. • 1 25# bag of clay is included in your registration. Your bag of clay will be required to pick up during your first-class meeting. There is a $5 additional fee if you select Coleman Porcelain as your first “free” bag • Students can purchase additional clay from Chastain at $27 per 25-pound bag.
