Join us for “Screenplay Summer.” The Filmmakers Club will collaborate in a “Writers Room” format and write a screenplay for a short film. Our goal: complete a script we will develop and produce in the Fall. May 16: Screenplay Ideas This month, filmmakers will pitch ideas for short film screenplays we will write this summer. June 27: Creating a Screenplay Outline Using the story we conceived last month, we will outline our script. July 25: Writing the First Screenplay Draft This month, we will collaborate on writing our outline into a short script using screenplay format. August 22: Revising Our Screenplay Finally, we will review our first draft and revise it into our second draft. Find handouts and other resources on the Filmmakers Club webpage.
