Discover how the Atlanta Botanical Garden is advancing plant conservation and horticulture through its International Plant Exploration Program (IPEP). This lecture and nursery tour will highlight IPEP’s work collecting and preserving plant material from Southeast Asia, evaluating new species for southeastern landscapes and building international partnerships for research and conservation. Visit the evaluation nursery and see firsthand how these efforts support future plant breeding, expand plant diversity in cultivation, and help protect threatened species around the world.
