Inspired by the bestseller of the same name, THE WOMAN YOU WANT TO BE is a hilarious, outrageous look at the book’s rules and the writer’s real life. This play was inspired by Florence Courtenay’s 1922 book PHYSICAL BEAUTY: HOW TO DEVELOP AND PRESERVE IT and Margery Wilson’s 1938 book THE WOMAN YOU WANT TO BE.
