Through a traditional Carnatic concert paired with short educational interludes and a gallery-style presentation of art, Swara Emory will introduce audiences to Carnatic music’s ability to preserve epic narrative, devotional meaning, and cultural heritage, while creating a multi-sensory connection between visual art and living musical tradition.
