Enjoy a beautiful day outdoors while helping Spectrum families create lasting memories at Family Fun Fishing Day, a sensory-friendly community event designed for individuals with autism and their families. This joyful celebration offers a variety of inclusive activities, including fishing, pony rides, a petting zoo, free lunch, and other family-friendly experiences in a welcoming, supportive environment. What to expect: Volunteers will play a vital role in ensuring the event runs smoothly and that families feel comfortable, safe, and engaged throughout the event. Volunteer support may include assisting families at fishing areas, helping manage activity stations such as pony rides or the petting zoo, guiding guests, distributing meals or refreshments, and providing general hospitality and event support. Volunteers may also assist with event setup and cleanup as needed. This opportunity is ideal for volunteers who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with families, and supporting inclusive, community-centered events. No prior experience is required!
