Modern gardeners collect and exchange seeds for many reasons ranging from cultivating rare, heirloom varieties to basic thrift. The exchange of seeds perpetuates biodiversity. UGA Extension Master gardeners will give and exchange seeds with helpful information on how and when to grow the produce through a community seed swap from 10am until noon. At 11am, join us for an educational talk by guest speaker Tony Whitaker who will give insights on growing orchids together with a phalaenopsis repotting demonstration. Tony has been successfully growing various orchid species for 40 years.
