Location: Patio, Oxford Road Bldg., 3rd floor Join us for a drawing session led by artist Johnnie Diacon (Muscogee Creek Nation). The session will focus on artistic expression based on what student and community are feeling from the land. We will capture the homelands in a drawing. This land shows us generosity each day. When you are having a quiet conversation with the land, this will be your part of the conversation, interpreted by you and creating it into something physical. Prior to the session, we encourage students and community to spend time on the land and allow it to speak to you. This may be a walk through Lullwater Park or enjoying time outside for 20-30 minutes. This program is open to all skill levels, and drop in participation is welcomed. All materials are provided and are available on a first come, first served basis. After the workshop, consider lending your drawing to the Carlos Museum/Center for Native American and Indigenous Studies so that it can be displayed at a
