JWY 09 – Intermediate & Advanced Jewelry and Metalsmithing (Fritsch)

This class is designed for students who are independent and self-directed. The students must have previous experience in sawing, soldering, fabrication, and other fundamental technical skills. Continuing intermediate and advanced students that wish to expand their design and fabrication techniques will work on independent projects with instructor input and one-on-one guidance. Demos and design discussions will be ongoing. Classes are held in the Jewelry Studio located in the Gardeners Cottage. Our studio is nicely stocked for the students with tools, equipment, copper and brass, however other metals such as silver and gold must be supplied by the student. Prerequisite:Three (3) Jewelry fabrication classes or by permission of the instructor.
