In this generative writing workshop, we’re going to use movement, the out-of-doors, and our senses to spark creativity. First, we’ll discuss how sensory details and descriptive language will enrich your writing (whether it’s fiction or non-fiction). Then we’ll take a walk through Storza Woods where we’ll do some observing and brainstorming and note-taking. Finally, we’ll head back to our classroom for some quiet writing time. We will close with time for a few volunteers to share what they’ve written or their plan for future writing. Date: Saturday, April 25 Time: 10 a.m. – noon Fee: $40 (Member $35) Registration Deadline: April 21 Instructor: Christy Petterson Member Registration Non-member Registration
